We coordinate and host up to 4 seminars a year in each of the following areas: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wellington, Tasman, Canterbury, Otago and Southland. We will also happily arrange events in other areas upon request. We seek to offer the complete training experience, using the best training talent from New Zealand and overseas.
We base our workshops at the best available venues and support them with a fantastic range of additional services including seminar notes, mouth-watering catering, convenient parking, civilised finish times, and much much more. At all of our events we also offer a comprehensive bookshop relating to all our current topics. We search the world to find the most up to date and relevant resources and literature (see our Books and Resources). For your convenience we offer EFTPOS, Credit Card and invoicing options at all of our events.
Craig is the Manager of Compass Seminars. Originally from a background in Child and Adolescent Social Work, Craig now oversees the general operations of Compass and his key areas of responsibility are trainer recruitment and relationship management, event hosting, and the development of new business.
Craig always prefers talking (about anything) to working so you can be sure he will be up for a chat if you call the office.
He is famous (in his own mind) for his own unique rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - not that this talent is always appreciated by others in the Compass office.

As the Events Manager Kate is involved in a variety of tasks including the event planning for all of our upcoming seminars which includes venue management, the organising of trainer itineraries, hosting the seminars on the day and making sure everything is well organised and running smoothly.
Kate has previously worked and studied in the health sector before heading off for her big OE to the UK and Europe. She joined Compass in 2010 upon her return from this adventure.
If you look up the word 'organised' in the dictionary you will find a photo of Kate right next to it. The same photo will also appear next to the words "knowledgeable', 'focused', and 'a little bit bossy' (although Kate prefers to call this 'having a clear expectation of what she needs from others')

Ros is our Operations Manager. She looks after the financial side of the operation, making sure everybody gets paid.
Prior to joining Compass Ros worked as a clinician in Child & Adolescent Mental Health and also provided specialist consultation services to the education sector. This experience means that she also plays a central role in finalising seminar content to ensure it is relevant to our customers needs.
Ros likes a good cup of tea, well crafted shoes, and any song by Adele. You hum it.,...she'll sing it!

Gerry is our delightful and hard working administrator. Gerry joined us in 2012 following her return home from a number of years working in NSW. She is responsible for a range of activities including registration management, customer service, managing our website content and assisting with event preparation.
She has an uncanny ability to remember details and uses this skill for good in her daily dealings with our customers and the rest of the team. Gerry is also the office barista and is called upon every day to make one of her 'mean as' Flat Whites (or 6) for the rest of the team
