Advanced Mindfulness-Based Skills Training
A Two-Day Intensive Workshop
This stimulating 2-day intensive, highly experiential workshop offers advanced practical applications of mindfulness for helping and educational professionals. The workshop is designed to be ‘next level’ training for professionals who already understand and practice mindfulness, are looking to further their skills and confidence in the approach and add some new applications to their mindfulness tool box.
Koke’s goals for the training are to help participants to:
- improve the effectiveness and impact of their mindfulness-based practice with clients of all ages;
- enhance the quality of therapeutic relationships with clients, as well as their own professional and personal relationships;
- deepen personal mindfulness skills to reduce stress and sustain a greater sense of wellbeing in the face of challenging clients and work environments.
Over the two days, Koke will present participants with a range of engaging, in depth mindfulness exercises designed to help people enhance their awareness of self and others, contact and regulate difficult emotion, identify valued ends and promote valued living and wellbeing, and enhance relationships. The training will make use of engaging experiential exercises and live demonstrations in both small group and individual contexts, all grounded on well-supported mindfulness-based contemporary theory and research. Participants will leave with the desire and confidence to immediately incorporate the new practical skills into their lives and work.
